I founded Pocket of Money, LLC to help you to take control of your money and live a world-class lifestyle. I am constantly studying finance and modifying the tools I created in order to be the most effective and useful. I want to empower you with the knowledge, tools, and skills you need to control your money and live your best life.
I believe financial literacy is important and necessary to manage your cash flow. However, an important thing I learned from years of working with clients, it’s not just the knowledge. It’s taking action on that knowledge day in and day out. Creating wealthy habits is key. That’s how W.I.S.E. Financial Fitness was born.

1 – I started my first business when I was 10 years old with my older siblings. We sold juleps aka frozen cups.
2 – In college, I learned to stretch money I made during the summer over the entire 10 month school year.
3 – I opened my first investment account at 19 years old.
4 – In college, I also co-founded a non-profit with my big sister and a friend: Heal a Woman to Heal a Nation.
5 – In graduate school, I saved up over $10,000 while on a stipend of $23,000 after taxes.
6 – My PhD is in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Yep, I wore a white lab coat and did experiments.
7 – I will never voluntarily pick a cold weather vacation spot. Bring on the beach! It’s the caribbean in me.
